Harry Potter Book 8 (Fan Written Version)

Chapter One : THE SNAKE

Harry was lying on his bed.. sun rays disturbed his sleep. Mature 36yr old man in him was searching for his son Albus in bed.

He heard Ginny smiling and saying, "get up harry. . Albus in hogwarts now"

"yah! I will miss him at home"harry said.he closed his eyes and rememberd all happy moments in last 19yrs. . .his wedding. .the day he became father . .n many more untill he was disturbed by noise downstairs. He ran downstairs with Ginny. It was Teddy and Lily fighting. Lily was crying n Teddy wasIt was Ginny who stopped both of them and asked wat was the matter.

Teddy with frightened face replied,"we. .we were having morning walk on our usual path and there came a snake. .jet black colour.so many muggles got away but . .but"

"but what Ted?"harry asked.

"lily was talking with the snake in his language,i asked her not to do it but. .she kept going. So i scold her"ted gasped. frightend but still scolding lily. "hermione aunty once in her story said. .its not good. Is . .is Lily a parceltongue?"teddy finished but there filled silence in room.only broken by lily,"but mom that . .that snake was too talking with me. He said he liked me. .my name."

"shut up Lily.i warn u never do it again"Ginny said.

"But mom. . ."lily

"go to ur room. . .now"Ginny said looking troubHarry finally spoke after teddy and Lily left,"Its ok Ginny.u know even i was worried when i first came to know about myself . .but it always helped me. Didnt it?"

Ginny,"i just. .ummm u know. .ummm"

harry,"its ok."

within an hour Harry left for his work with Teddy.Ginny asked both of them to be early at home with a warm smile.

Ginny did get weasley's house watch from her mother.hands in watch showed Harry leaving house and lily being in her room.Ginny came in garden to water plants the way her muggle neighbours do.she was thinking of wat to cook today. .wat her beloved husband will like. . Suddenly something moved in plants at fence.. Something which was black but shining. She looked again and again but couldn't find anything. With some strange feeling she ran into house towards lily's room. Lily was there sleeping calmly. Ginny closed door behind her and came in hall. Something she really sensed was there but what was it? led Ginny's eyes opened and widened to see hand in wall watch now showing that lily is going towards fence. "lily"she shouted and ran back in garden. Lily was not responding to ginny but was slowly motioning towards fence. Ginny caught hold of lily's hand and shook her. "what are you doing here and why didnt you stop when i called?"

"mom i didnt here you but someone called me. Called me there"said lily pointing her hand at the place where ginny had sensed something before. With disbelieve ginny took her daughter inside.closed all windows with wand and tookout quill to write everything what happened to hermoine,still holding lily with one hand.

Chapter two : Harry's fame.

At dinner Ginny told Harry about the incident but was disappointed to see no reaction from him.

"it must have been neighbour boy asking for lily to play with."Harry said finally.

Ginny still unsatisfied was waiting for hermione's reply.about a hourIt was from Albus.

dear mother,

sorting hat put me in Gryffindor. It said something about enemies and dark side but i didnt get it. Hogwarts seems to be nice than i imagined. Everyone here knows dad,all look at me and ask me to do some magic like dad. It troubles sometime but James enjoy all that. He keeps telling everyone stories aunt Hermoine told once and yah flirts also.

yours albus severus later one owl zoomed in dropping a letter near Ginny. Ginny kept the letter aside and just said that,"Albus in Gryffindor". Harry looked pleased. She was not sure to tell harry that his fame troubling one of his sons while other one is enjoying it to flatter. She knew it well albus was just like harry. .afraid of attention but james will do anything to get it. ginny so much involved in her thoughts didnt realize d owl bringing hermoine's reply.

dear Ginny,

sorry to reply u so late. Was busy in ministry office with some problems of muggle born wizards and you know S.P.E.W work too.

About lily,i think u r just corelating things. It must be nothing serious and harry will do what is right in that case.

Ginny read the letter again but didnt find any clue.she also thought not to worry as harry was there with her now.

End of chapter two.

Chapter three : The dark side

It was killing darkness in forbidden forest.trees didnt dare to move as figure with hood covering face moved towards Hogwarts. She looked up at school and thought Hogwarts charm is not challenging now as dumbeldore is no more. Nothing to dear,she thought. A little boy came running out of castle and stood infront of her.

boy,"why you called me here? And please take that hood away,it frightens me"

She laughed so loudly that all nerves in his body ached. She looked at him and said,"you are not born to have fear of darkness but to worship it. "

boy,"grandpa wont like me meeting you."

"your grandparents were coward otherwise dark lord would have been alive."she said with a trembling voice. He felt like she is about to cry.

"your grandparents did ditch dark lord. didnt help me out."she sobbed.

Boy,"but. . . .But they thought that you are dead untill you visited our house last month"

"so thought everyone. Bellatrix was not that weak to be killed by Molly's curse.i was stunned,your grandma didnt search for my body. I was hiding,running till now. "she looked up at castle and then at dark sky above. "i will finish them all my lord" her laugh again broke the silence of forest.

she continued to walk inside the jungle.

it was near midnight when scorpius returned back to castle.

"Todays night is disturbing one. I am afraid harry,this darkness troubles me."ginny looked out of window as she said it.

"nothings wrong ginny. You are tired thats it. Please do take kreacher's help more in work."harry yawned and take off his glasses.

Lily was sleeping calmly in her bedroom.suddenly she got up and looked out of window. Two black eyes were piercing hers. They called her,"come with me lily. .Come with me. I cant loose you one more time"

lily said,"no. My mom doesnt like you. Please go please go."

"i am alone lily.very alone. You cant stay with Potters . Come with me"

"no no no snape"

Chapter four : The duel

"On quidditch pitch"said professor Chang. She was their new quidditch teacher.

"take your brooms and follow me. First step you have to do is . . She continued but was interrupted by a noise behind. It was scorpius and albus punchin each other. After miss Chang stopped them.albus,"professor he punched me first"

scorpius,"he was coming in my way"

"malfoy and potter always like that. Both of you will get detention for today."said prof. Chang.

Unlike Harry, james was in library searching for some book in the shelf of old books. He dropped a book making so many heads turning towards him."sorry"

he picked up the book and saw his three batchmates of slytherin house standing there.

"see which book james harry potter is reading. . .History of hogwarts"said Jack dursley. His voice was as thick as fat on his body. He looked like a baby elephant. Other two boys laughed at it. "what you are bothering to read the book james,go and ask your father he must be knowing all the history correctly. Afterall he is famous harry potter."jack said it in sarcastic manner,

james knew that jack dursley and his friends were always jealous of james getting more attention of each professor. He tookout his wand pointing it towards jack and said,"would like to show you what famous harry potter taught me,but got something more important to do than tying your tongue"

"Expelliarms" cried one of the three and james wand was thrown away.

"crucio"said jack pointing his wand at james.

"protego"spell shot at same time by Victorie formed a shell around james. James picked up his wand in time , "crucio" jack dursely fall down with pain.

"stop"shouted prof. Longbottom at both. Curse was lifted from jack.

mr.dursely go to your class and mr.potter you follow me.

longbottom's office was filled with so many herbs with tag for eachone.it was a dull atmosphere there but still warm.photos of harry,ron and neville in their school robes hung there. All waved at james as he entered.

Prof.longbottom."james why to curse someone just because you can. You could have used simple magic or disarm him. Harry never liked it. He didnt cursed his enemies also."

neville was inturupted by james shout,"i am not him.i will punish all of them who goes wrong. And you see sir i will get the same fame one day. Fame of my own. "

james was shivering with anger.

james james calm down my boy. Dont hunt for fame or power. If it is yours,it will come to you.you need rest,go to your room"

Chapter five : Battle within

Harry was looking out of hall's window. He was no more a skinny boy now. With ginny's good cooking abilities he had developed some fat on his body.but still was graceful as young harry.

Ginny was serving her breakfast and complaining about lily's odd behaviour. "lily did spend her whole evening in the hill behind godric's hallow.returned home so late.she is enjoying being in darkness than having fear of it"ginny spoke without pausing to take breath also. "i am afraid harry"

"dont worry ginny i will speak to her"said harry reassuringly."

two owls zoomed in towards harry.opening one letter with a grin.

It was from Albus

dear father,

i can fly now without falling from broom.peeves troubles me lot but.marauder's map given by you is excellent,i keep watch on james but for my surprise most of the time he is in library.dad that scorpius keeps going in jungle many a times in night.we had short fight but he doesnt trouble me that much.james had a duel with his batchmates.

Rest ok dad.

And yah Hagrid is too big.

Harry gave it ginny to read and opened second letter.

"oh, its Neville's"

dear harry,

how are you.. I really wanted to visit you at your home before starting of this term in school. Hope you are enjoying being an auror,

just wanted to inform you something. James had a duel with his slytherin batchmate jack dursley.james is ambicious but gets angry easily. He is good in studies but having hunger for fame.talk to him about this when he will come home for christmas.

albus is just like you.hope it conveys everything.

neville longbottom.Harry kept nevilles letter aside.he was really happy for nevill, being in hogwarts.he missed hogwarts specially hagrid.Harry was not upset with any of his kid as he wanted them to enjoy their childhood in the way they want.he got ready for going to do quidditch practice.he was there in international team now.harry as a child was always confused about his career.now he was an auror as well as famous quidditch player.

"harry aren't you getting late?what you are thinking about?"ginny said while kissing harry softly.

"you are my real treasure ginny"said harry kissing her back. He waved good bye to her and disapparated from there.he was now infront of a two storey house.it was a example of good muggle construction.nicely maintained garden around.harry walked ahead to ring the bell but before he could Hermoine opened the door.

"oh harry ! What a pleasant surprise!"

"suprise?i had talked with ron yesterday only"said harry escaping from hermoine's welcome hug.

"Ron"shouted hermoine taking harry into the house."Ron why didnt you inform me that harry is coming"

"well . .hmmm. .well i thought it will be a nice surprise for you"

"i know you forgot anyways you are getting old Rony"said hermoine teasingly.

"dont call me that"

Harry started laughing at them,"well you people are still the same"

hermoine,"but i didnt know you are coming i have not prepared anything"

"thats ok hermoine,we have to leave for quidditch practice"but hermoine was not listening to them.she moved towards kitchen still scolding ron.

"she wont listen harry.we will have some food and then will leave. Hermoine cooks really very nice now."ron said last line more loudly so that hermoine can here. Ron was really a macho man now but hair still untidy. Harry looked at hermoine,she was changed a lot with a same bushy hair.looked more beautiful and quick in every move.their house got a hermoinish look,everything neat and well arranged.hugo came running to the harry and started complaining about lily that she doesnt reply to his letters now a days.hermoine was ready with her cooking and serving them.

"its really delicious"said harry.it was the life harry really wanted.his own peaceful house,loving family,his friends too well settled.he had first 17yrs of his life strugling and them this 19yrs of peace but. . But he though still something was missing.

Harry waved bye to hermione and left for quidditch practice with Ron.harry was still in his own thoughts.he was not concentrating on play also.he was on his new broom Whizzo 2020,the fastest one these days.he zoomed in air and looked down at pitch.he went high up and up pitch became blurred infront of me. He remembered his flight to sirius's house from private drive with members of order. He remembered Tonks teasing face.harry went still high up in air. Tonks face faded away and there he saw Lupin smiling at harry and it turned into sirius's one then he saw dumbledore. Harry's grip loosen a little. His broom was coming slowly towards ground. He thought Fred just passed away by him making some joke. His grip loosen further,he was speeding towards ground.he saw someone else in that mist and he closed his eyes. "no. .no . . not Dobby"he shouted and hit the ground.

after a long time when he opened eyes saw himself surrounded by ron and all other teammates.

Ron,"harry what was it. You went high up and suddenly speeded towards the ground as if you were not in your senses."

"i . .I am ok"harry could reply just this much.ginny's patronous appeared infront of them saying "harry rush at st.munigo's hospital. Ted is hurt badly."

Harry and ron disapparated towards the hospital. It was not that crowded, as less wizards were getting hurt nowadays.they could easily find Ted's room.ginny was sitting beside Ted's bed with lily.ginny was crying. Harry looked at Ted,he was in horrible condition than harry imagined.ted was wrapped in dressing all over his body still blood spurted out of his chest and face as though he had been slashed with a sword.

"how did this happen?"Ron questioned which brought harry back to his senses.

"who did this ginny?"harry asked shakingly.

"I dunno. . .I was in kitchen when our neighbour brought him. . .They said Ted was found on hill behind our house in this condition"ginny paused looking at lily "he was looking out for lily as she didnt turn home early then i dunno how he reached on hill and how this. ."ginny started crying again.

"lily have you got any idea who did this.?"it was ron who asked this.

"no"lily said it looking at Ted's motionless body.

"it looks like someone has made this injury by a sword.can be some muggle thief what you think harry?"

"no its a curse"said Suzzane,hospital nurse,coming in and applying some green liquid on Ted's wounds."we dont have an idea about which one but. Never saw such a thing before"Suzzane continued.

"will he be alright?ginny asked.

"he will survive but dont know when he will come in his senses"suzzane said it dressing the wounds back.

"he have to survive"harry said "i cant loose him"

"it would have been better if we had known the exact curse which was used"suzzane said

Chapter Six : Hogwarts Secrets

"There are so many mr. Potter."said McGonagall and moved away. "but. But professor, aunt hermoine told us all of them"followed james.

"so you already know hogwarts secrets,then why you are troubling me potter."

"i just wanted to know a bit more professor. Like. . .Like"

"like what?and i must tell you, you are just like your father who will never stop asking questions."frowned McGonagall.

"where is that chamber of secrets exactly.aunt hermoine forgot to tell the location "

"no she purposefully didnt tell you that and i agree with her."

"but professor the monstor there is dead now. Didnt it? It is safe now"

"you cant say james. There can be something else also. Hogwarts carry so many secrets even i dont know many of them. You just give it a rest."

"professor just one more thing. . .what is severum vena. ..? . . .and . .Death well."

"what . . .who told you these things"McGonagall said angrilly.

james taking aback"none professor. I read it in one of library books"

"listen james, you dont need to know about Death well.just forget it.. . And about the severum vena i have no idea so it must not be harmfull,you can check for that"

"thank you professor"james said giving way to her.

McGonagall thought in her mind that why did she behave so mildly with james. . . Probably cause he is harry's son.she herself was not that much afraid of hogwarts secrets now as Dark lord wont come back to trouble hogwarts and any of the hidden things wont be as harmful as him.

McGonagall turned on the way towards her office.

Being hogwarts headmistress was not her wish but she had to keep her promise given to Dumbledor. McGonagall stood infront of dumbledor's portrait in her office. He smiled at her."what happened Minerva? You look troubled."

"its going to be tough keeping hogwarts safe with two potters,one weasley and one malfoy."she laughed.

dumbledor too laughed waking up all the portraits present there. All were smiling at McGonagall and dumbledor's portrait.

It was difficult for harry to sleep calmly. He had so many thoughts in his mind.what will happen to teddy?what was the curse? He kept rubbing his head to get any answer. First time in past long 19yrs,he was troubled by something,
